Back to the Grind

So much for posting late on Saturday or Sunday at all! What a busy couple of days. I had to get myself back in to the swing of things and ready to return to work today. Pretty tough considering that this was the longest vacation I have had since my son was born. It was good to refresh and get the batteries recharged for what is shaping up to be a fantastic year.

Update from Sunday...

Sunday Meals
Breakfast - Eggs, bacon, coffee
Snack - Protein shake, almonds
Lunch - Teriyaki chicken, rice, peppers, onions
Snack - Banana with dark chocolate almond butter
Dinner - Hawaiian chicken, pineapple, green bell pepper, broccoli
Snack - Baked Doritos, beer (don't judge me)

Sunday Workout
moving furniture from house to garage
shopping for storage pieces for house
(once again, don't judge me)

As you can see, Sunday was a rest day and was supposed to be a cheat day but my body was craving real food (well, except for the impromptu Doritos and beer). As for today, it should be a different story. It's back to my regular routine and I am super pumped about it. It's amazing how after you start working out, your body craves it...

Lunch - Hawaiian chicken, pineapple, green bell pepper, broccoli
Snack - Protein bar, banana
Dinner - TBD

Crossfit or running
